Why The Dr.Gut
More Than Dog Food. A Better Way to Nourish Your Dog.
We combine premium nutrition with fresh and real ingredients.
PREMIUM NUTRITION
At The Dr.Gut, real food should look, smell, and feel real. We gently cook carefully selected human-grade proteins and recognizable vegetables to preserve their natural flavor, texture, and nutritional qualities. Every meal makes premium nutrition an easy and enjoyable part of your dog’s daily routine.
GUT HEALTH
A healthy gut supports digestion, nutrient absorption, immune function, and overall well-being. Our recipes use recognizable, digestible ingredients and appropriate textures to help dogs engage with their food. Because every dog is different, introduce dietary changes gradually and monitor your dog’s appetite, digestion, energy, and comfort.
REAL INGREDIENTS
Know exactly what goes into your dog’s bowl. Our recipes combine clearly identified proteins—pork loin, turkey, salmon, or beef—with green beans, carrots, sweet potato, and a carefully measured amount of unsalted butter. Every ingredient has a purpose and is gently cooked in recognizable pieces. No mystery ingredients. No unrecognizable mixtures. Just real food you can recognize.
NUTRITION EDUCATION
Every dog is unique, and their nutrition should reflect their age, weight, activity level, health, and digestive tolerance. We help families understand ingredients, portions, textures, dietary transitions, and how their dog responds to food—while encouraging veterinary guidance when needed. Founded by canine nutritionist Jessika Rosas, The Dr.Gut shares practical information with clarity, transparency, and purpose.
OUR STORY
Born From Love. Built Around Better Nutrition.
The Dr.Gut started with a simple question:
“Am I feeding my dog the best way possible?”
That question led Jessika Rosas to discover the connection between nutrition, digestion, and her dog’s overall well-being.
Today, The Dr.Gut creates premium dog food with real ingredients and a deeper understanding of gut health — because caring for your dog starts with knowing what goes into their bowl.
